UnderTown
Undertown mural is a participatory art project that was created in collaboration with the Over Town Youth Center in Miami. The mural was inspired by the effects of climate change on the city and aimed to raise awareness about this issue through the use of a "paint by number" technique, which allows individuals to contribute to the creation of a larger artwork. By involving students from the youth center in the creation of the mural, the project also aimed to engage and empower these young people, as well as expand the conversation around climate change and its impacts. The Undertown mural serves as visual catalyst reach a wider audience and promote awareness about these important issues.
