Pick Your Vice
"Pick Your Vice" is a series of paintings and sculptures that were inspired by the obsessive consumption that characterizes 21st-century society. The collection was curated and presented by WYN317 Gallery in Wynwood, Florida in 2014. The artist used a minimalist and whimsical approach to take the viewer into a space full of imagery that highlights some of the different elements of society that individuals constantly and compulsively obsess over. The artist used the "cut and paste" technique and childhood-like drawings to engage the viewer in a complex conversation and also introduced sculpture-canvases for the first time, which create a union between imagery and concept.
