Together Moving Forward
“Together Moving Forward” is a mural project that aims to raise awareness about the autism community and promote acceptance and inclusion of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The project brought together members of the Miami and Fort Lauderdale communities to paint murals, including police officers and Congressman Carlos Gimenez. The mural is intended to inspire others to end isolation towards individuals with disabilities and to recognize and accept each other's vulnerabilities in order to connect on a deeper level and grow.
