Clash of the Titans
"Clash of the Titans" is an art collection that combines elements of animation and painting, and is inspired by the photoshoot and promotional poster from the collaboration show of Andy Warhol and Jean-Michel Basquiat in 1985. The collection features the artist's character "Fado" in a boxing match scenario, representing and paying tribute to these two iconic figures in art history. The collection consists of seven rounds, with the final round being a "knockout punch" that includes the voices of Warhol and Basquiat in the background. Collectors who obtained the complete digital collection received one of the artist's original Warhol/Basquiat boxing paintings. The collection was initially release on January 28th, 2021 on the NIfty Gateway platform and also exhibited by W1 Curates in London on October 3, 2022.
