Airbnb Open LA
On November 17th-19th of 2016, Airbnb hosted the Airbnb Open LA. A festival celebrating the Airbnb community and the neighborhoods of Los Angeles. Thousands of hosts from over a hundred countries welcomed each other at historic theaters, unique venues, and lush gathering spaces at the event's urban campus in Downtown LA. The event included a variety of activities, including presentations by speakers like Gabriel Gimenez, who was invited to talk about his artwork and his involvement in the development of Airbnb Experiences. Airbnb Experiences are unique activities or experiences hosted by local experts that allow travelers to immerse themselves in a destination and learn new skills or hobbies.
